Problem & Context¶
Cybersecurity has evolved, but personal protection has not. While enterprises use SOC teams, SIEM platforms, and advanced monitoring, individuals and small professional environments remain exposed.
Personal Endpoints Are Now Prime Targets¶
Attackers increasingly target: - Executives and high-profile individuals - Lawyers, judges, doctors, and professionals with sensitive data - SOC administrators and IT leaders whose personal credentials can unlock enterprise infrastructure - Families and children - Remote workers and travelers
These devices often contain: - Private communications and strategic decisions - Financial and legal information - Access to corporate accounts and systems - Personal photos and documents
Yet they lack any structured monitoring or detection capability.
The Structural Blind Spot¶
Home networks are not monitored. Personal laptops are not enrolled in corporate EDR systems. Family devices share Wi-Fi with sensitive professional communications.
A single compromised personal device can become the silent entry point into critical infrastructure, executive communications, or sensitive legal proceedings. The attacker does not need to breach the firewall — they only need to reach the person behind it.
Lack of Visibility = Increased Risk¶
Most users cannot see: - What processes are running on their device - What connects to the internet - What files are modified - Whether malware or persistence mechanisms exist - Whether someone is spying on them
Without visibility, attacks remain unnoticed until it is too late.
Why Traditional Tools Are Not Enough¶
Antivirus tools focus on signature-based detection. But modern threats rely on: - Living-off-the-land techniques - Slow and stealthy behavioral patterns - Fileless attacks - Credential theft - Multi-stage intrusion sequences
These techniques require behavioral visibility and multi-layer detection — not just scanning.
The Core Problem¶
There is no personal-level visibility layer equivalent to enterprise SIEM. No lightweight, privacy-respecting, offline-capable solution designed specifically to protect the personal endpoints of high-value individuals.
Enterprise tools are too heavy, too intrusive, and too dependent on corporate infrastructure. Consumer antivirus is too shallow.
Nyroxis exists to close this gap.
